What is a blueberry?
I got a called a Derogatory blueberry on destiny a bit ago, due to jsut waking up and doing survival. Why is blueberry an insult?

I got a kick out of it and laughed a good bit with my friends/clanmates, but why is this an insult? xD

Actually it refers to the blue dots, people who are not in your fireteam that appear on radar

To add to the above. The term "Blueberries" is used because random players are shown as blue-ish dots on the minimap.

When a public event is starting and you see that there are atleast 3 more other players waiting for it.

Blueberry is the player that plays gambit. Refuses to learn the mechanics, does not play the objectives, and takes every invasion opportunity and dies with one or no kills

The nickname is appropriate seeing as blueberries are the same shade of turquoise as other players are on the radar, it was most certainly a fresh produce aficionado who came up with that. Or someone who dabbles in fruit ownership.
