VRAM only 64mb help please!
My friend said supposing it should be around 1.5k VRAM with my graphic card (GeForceGT 540M)
I'm just really wondering why It still remain 64mb since it really affect the fps that much!
I can run other game like really fine, for example, Warframe, League Of Legends, Dota 2, CSGO in like medium setting with 30-60fps.

What laptop do you have?
Suzaku 9 NOV 2019 a las 4:44
I don't know how to change it, but it's clear to me that the game isn't using your graphics card. There's nothing from this century that has only 64 MBs of graphical power.

a gt 540? jesus, go upgrade that pc, caveman!
BlueLightning 9 NOV 2019 a las 4:56
Nvidia control panel > manage 3d setting > program settings > add destiny 2 > use dedicated nvidia for gpu profile

even tho, your GPU is OUT of the minimum GPU req, so this maybe still not work or yield good result

Its a laptop. Some people dont have the ability to get a tower pc.

Also From the list of games being all free to play I am gonna guess

1. This is a laptop bought years ago and OP doesnt have the cash to get a new one

2. OP is under age, such has no money, and parents wont buy another

Either way, a gt 540M... that is rough.

What is rough is playing CSGO at medium settings for only 40fps...

Yea 40fps in CSGO is quite the handicap...

MINIMUM:
Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
OS: Windows® 7 / Windows® 8.1 / Windows® 10 64-bit (latest Service Pack)
Processor: Intel® Core™ i3 3250 3.5 GHz or Intel Pentium G4560 3.5 GHz / AMD FX-4350 4.2 GHz
Memory: 6 GB RAM
Graphics: NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 660 2GB or GTX 1050 2GB / AMD Radeon HD 7850 2GB
Network: Broadband Internet connection
Storage: 105 GB available space

here u go for minimum requirement, 660 even much better than 540M, if my steps doesnt help your fps then probably get new laptop

Still, not in a position to solve your situation with new hardware. What I was trying to say in my response to the other guy. There are many circumstances that are out of one’s control sadly. I just used two examples that are different enough from one another.

Also I am in no position to judge, but you say your not under age which implies at least 18, your a student. Guessing college or uni. And you have your own money.

You should be able to spend your money how you see fit. Thats how I was raised anyway.

as i said, nothing can be done anymore, after all, i think its impossible only using 64MB VRAM so it probably uses 540M anyway, and since its below requirement then u can't expect this to go well, this is 4x heavier on gpu than csgo

I have this problem too and the problem DEFINALLY isn't your computer.

I used to play destiny 2 through the blizzard client and it actually used my gpu, it used to show 2048mb of vram, but with the change to steam the game switched from my dedicated gpu to my intel gpu that has 128mb of vram and the game runs like crapl

I'm trying to find a fix, maybe changing something in the config files.
