Classes
Are the three classes, roles, destinys, similar to the Titan is tank, Hunter is damage dealer and the warlock is like a mix of healer, dd and tank?!

no, warlock is areal support, hunter is long range and dodger and titan is close quarter specialist

while damage is purely based on weapon damage, the ability make them different.
For example, warlock can summon a healing rift, hunter can dodge and titan can pop a shield to cover fire.

the build is even deeper, titan more rely to punches close range, their melee ability either can heal + overshield them, or cast a devastating melee bash by sprinting and melee, some exotic actually buff damage per kill for 5 sec, stackable 5x. has more health than hunter, but usually slower

hunter, relying on flexibility and trickshots, could say one of fastest and nimblest class in the game, but kinda bit fragile, not much

warlock relying on area attack, for example in addition of healing rift, they can also shoot pulse nade that can deny enemy pushes or even kill multiple trying to capture zones, not healing-tank-dps like generic ones but..... you get it right?

damage is based on weapon, hunter didn't do more damage than warlock if both weapon the same

oh, the jump is also diferent
titan use mini jetpack ish (lift off)
warlock uses 0 gravity (for a while), known as gliding
hunter is generic fps double and triple jump, depending on the choosing

i'd recommend hunter for first timer since the jump is very similar to other games, warlock kinda tricky

thanks for the great answer

That response might have been great, but it's full of ♥♥♥♥.At end-game, everyone is DPS because the game is designed to be played with any combination of classes, meaning 6 Hunters/Titans/Locks, none of the mechanics present in the game require any specific abilities. Doing damage is the only thing that matters in this game. That said, that doesn't mean Hunter Tethers, Titan Bubble or Warlock dmg buff isn't extremely good, just not NEEDED. There are no set roles in this game.

i'd never said dps isn't important, in fact, it is important

DPS =/= class, tbh any class can be dps, just the general ability role it will use. Remember, the goal of the player is to KILL anyway, this is unlike other game where other can use medic role, tbh warlock can go full offense too. The ability could help in specific area, but pretty much end game thing measured in TTK (Time to Kill) anyway

and OP, never regret make a char (except duplicate class or wanna change look),because you get 3 char slot > u can get one each class.

The information that you've been given is a gross over-simplification. Any class can play a variety of roles.

Warlock can be specced for raw damage output, survivability or healing.

Titan can be specced for various support roles. Mainly buffing teammates or debuffing bosses. Alternatively, all out slaying in PVP.

Hunter can be specced for support through keeping enemies in check and generating super energy for teammates or nuking bosses. Also, wallhack abilities in PVP.

It's not even that bad in certain maps with long lanes.

It's bad unless you're playing against complete and utter brainlets. It can't one shot, so anyone with more than 2 braincells will get hit once and then not repeak until they regen.

Yes, because relying on teammates is a great idea.

That doesn't change the fact that bows are trash-tier and exotic bows are "lol wat r u doin?"-tier.

I think the disussion pretty much derailed as i believe OP wont learn anything from this....

It's more of a FPS than an RPG with roles, pick whatever you want and shoot stuff.
