Finally have Ace of Spades. Advice needed on mods etc.

Hello all.
I finally have Ace of Spades.
Could anyone please advise on mods and catalyst?

You can't equip mods on exotic weapons, so I assume you're asking about armour mods? Anything that buffs hand cannons. Enhanced hand cannon loader, hand cannon targeting... You shouldn't need ammo finder or reserves though.

I'm not sure what you're asking about the catalyst? It's a random drop, I think I got mine from a strike.

exactly what mosley said, for my catalyst i got it from a random 750 nightfall i did first try :P

Sorry I thought it could be moded. Not come across a catalyst sine I have been playing.
Do any activities have a better chance of dropping?

Catalyst RNG, i got mine from playing crucible with Ace

They seem to have massively upped the drop rate for catalysts, so you'll get it sooner or later. I used to get about one per month and I think I've had four drop since Shadowkeep released. Either I was very unlucky for a very long time or they increased the drop rate.
