Best crucible match for beginners?
Hello all.
I have a quest to get kills in crucible for the Caydes will quest.
Which crucible match is more suited to someone new to this game type?

I think I was able to get them fastest in rumble, because in other modes kills often turn to assists instead as there are lots of people running around. In rumble it's mostly one on one with plenty of kills happening throughout the match.

Balls first into survival. You'll probably get rolled, though.

Someone new to the crucible should play control or clash. They're very basic and there's no level advantage unlike Iron Banner.

Oh, if you're only going for the quest completion, try Momentum Control. You can 1-tap with a handcannon. Just be aware that you too, will get 1-tapped by many things.

new to crucible?

oh boy... you're not going to have fun. Unless you like getting rolled by endless hoards of titans with OEM and recluse...

Many thanks all.
I shall try dipping my toe in each to see how hot the water is :)

Best is definitely mayhem when it's on rotation, just use striker and play some space jam.

Control playlist has skill based matchmaking. If you're new you'l be matched to players your level.

New to crucible?

You might want to first grind for a god roll on a blast furnace, some shotgun or sniper, and a hammerhead otherwise you're gonna get steamrolled by OEM recluse shotgun tryhards who think they're good.

Do classic mix. Bunch of diff styles so you can learn em all

if you want to learn pvp and kill something you should start in Rumble, it's a deathmatch but given that map are large it's mostly a 1vs1 affair. The first thing you must do when you drop each time is find your prey and for this the radar comes into place. Knowing how to use the radar is most important thing in order to stay alive and to get the kill at the same time. This applies to every maps and mode thereafter.

i would take control, so you can go with other and see how they play.

i guess rumble is a horrible experience for a pvp newcomer.
same is classic mix, only ppl that want to farm noobs because its the only mode without skill based matchmaking.
