Dude, you got fully countered and ignored it pretty deeply. Gonna stick with calling you a troll after this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ attempt to keep your bait fresh.
(if I'll even play an FPS game, since I don't like them at all)
Still this isn't new. They've been rehashing exotics and all kinds of other stuff too. One of the big reasons so many people bailed on this franchise.
This is a classic example of the Gamer Catch-22. The single most demanded area to be added in gets added, so now they're just "rehashing content". Despite the fact that we know that the area has completely changed and they're redoing a lot, and everything they've shown us clearly indicates they're doing a lot to rework the game and add new things.
I hate to break it to everyone who's going to look for the angle to complain on... but "rehashing" really just means you skip some art design steps. They still have to make the entire area in the new game, they still have to make all the items and gear, they still have to do pretty much everything they'd have had to do the first time around.
Let's stop pretending this is just them taking an old game's content as a round peg and fitting it through the square hole that is the new game magically. If you're uninterested in the game, don't play it. But in any decent story one often retreads the ground they've walked before, it doesn't mean the horizon hasn't changed.
All this is going to be new content coming with Shadowkeep. For what we know so far. You call it recycled because we go back to a (much larger, remodeled) Moon, but you ignore everything else coming.
A raid, 2 strikes, weapons, and exotics is pretty standard for their dlc model. Its not a lot, honestly. Cant say they are recycled, but come on lol. Bungie isnt in the business of giving tons of stuff for free with your first purchase at release. This has been proven with every single dlc they have done.
No... it hasn't been proven with anything they've done. They haven't been in the driver seat at any point for D2 until now.
Soon we'll get to see just how much of that crap was Activision... or rather, how it was all just Bungie because it'll be the same crap.
These crappy attempts at bait would work if we haven’t actively been seeing change since they got independent control. Which we have. It brought me back after a long absence, the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, weird assumptions that a developer somehow isn’t fully under the control of the company that owned them needs to just plain stop.
Was more just stating my opinion on Bungie and Destiny 2. I bought the crap on release, biggest mistake in a long time.
