Any hunter outfits without a hood?

i would just use warlock but i am interested in the arc staff, i have not found anything anywhere that says that its possible to take off or lower the hood from outfits so im guessing thats not an option? kind of dumb

currently no, but in the latest "This Week At Bungie" blog post one of the armor set ornaments for hunter has a lowered hood. Might be just a rendering error or it could be something they're playing with in future sets.

You can remove helmet and hood completely via ingame options, you will see your face instead.

That only works in social areas. Think they want to disable it everywhere, which isn't an option.

Note, that you can use a warlock, AND a hunter with the arc staff. Its not a either or proposition, you can have both. Armor is unique to the individual class, but weapons can be swapped between them freely.

As far as hoods go, there is no option to remove hoods themselves. The closest thing is setting your character to have "remove helmet in social spaces" but that has only 2 locations it would do anything. As MostExcellentHat mentioned, there is a new hunter cloak coming, that will not have a hood.

Besides, even in the social areas, other players are spared the sight of your face. You can't frighten others and others can't horrify you.

Once D2 crashes onto Steam though, we can link screenshots to disgust other players. Or maybe Bungie will just gives the option (hopefully for free).
