Is a 100k nightfall run on Hero difficulty possible?

Hey, like everyone probably, i want to grab that pinnacle gear from the weekly. I want to ask if anyone manage to do it yet and on what difficulty. Is hero enough or does it really have to be legend or higher? If possible i would rather do it on Hero because thats under my power level so it will be easier. I dont want to go through the pain of overpowered enemies that 1 hit me. :D

Closest I've got is about 85k. Maybe if you don't melt the boss too fast and kill all the adds that start spawning after getting the 2 barriers down, you could do it. Though never tried.

You need to do the 950 one for 100k.

Gotta be fast and kill literally everything. Pinnacle gear isn't supposed to be easy so you'll either cut it close or not get it at all

Thanks, well i guess im going to grind more and do raids until friday or so and then try it. I doubt i can do a 100k run on 950 with 927 power level :D

It is certainly possible IF you play with friends who know what to do - two key factors: Don't die - Kill everything quickly - disperse your dps accordingly and time your cooldowns properly (i.e. Group X = Player 1 grenade Group Y = Player 2 grenade etc etc) closest i've got with a matchmaking was around 85K or something in that ballpark which included lots of wasted time and some deaths even.

But as was said above, it's for pinnacle gear and is supposed to be a challenge. But then again, if you grind it hard enough you'd prob get a good group at some point or you just do the 950 one or above, that should easily be doable without having to preplan anything at all since the point modifier is much higher there.

Can confirm. think my best was 86k with a near flawless run.

I would say you shouldn't bother with the 100k until you reach 950 light. Pinacle engram drops are the only ones that will give you gear with a higher light than 950...
