Report a translation problem
Like i said, call up your internet provider. Usually it's because port 3074 and 3079 are used up for the application helper. And as much as i agree that it is unacceptable for a AAA game, it can't be helped. This problem persisted since launch for several routers and Bungie didn't fix it. Maybe they only hire scriptkiddies for netcoding or simply don't care since it only affects few people. Either way, it's by far easier to call your internet provider like i did. Usually they already know the problem and either install an update that will fix it or give you a new router. For me this was done in 20 mins. Be warned though, if you have the tg588v you will still have a restricted NAT anyway in many games, thats why, in the end i requested a router replacement (was free of charge for me at least).
Tl,dr.: Call Internet provider, tell them you can't play destiny 2 (they usually know what problem is), get update or replace your router.
