Equip cosmetic

Hi, How do I equip a robe which is a cosmetic? It goes straight to my inventory and I cant find anywhere to equip it

If you bought it from eververse, go to your inventory tab, and you'll need to "open" the eververse package.

After that, inspect the piece of gear in question, and choose "appearance" at the bottom of the screen. You'll see a little square on the left hand side where you can equip the new ornament.

If it's an exotic ornament then you need to have that exotic and do what @jstubbles said

I'm sorry. But there is not such a thing as that.
I have it unlocked, when I go the chest piece the ornament its not on the appearance

Certain ornaments only go on the required gear they belong on... The only ornaments that you can equip on other gear are the cosmetic ones from the eververse vendor. If it indeed is a cosmetic ornament that you don't see popping up in the gear slot... Than it's probably a bug or a glitch, idk.

If I knew that was so complicated to apply a cosmetic I would have reconsider buy this game.

Select the gear. Press S. select skin, apply.

It's not really complicated and you really shouldn't turn down the game because of that. Game is fun, play it for that and not for the purpose of cosmetics only.

That was the issue. It's an exotic piece. There are some little details that im getting used to. Thanks for all replies.
