transfer Destiny 2 to SSD
Currently my system disk and Steam/Destiny is on a HDD.

I am satisfied with the HDD as startup and system disk. Windows 10 boots quickly.

I believe that operating Destiny 2 from SSD will make is faster, perhpas solve some bottleneck and performance issues and eliminate "LOADING" issues ingame.
I want to transfer just Destiny 2 to an SSD but do not know how to achieve that.

What needs to be transferred and how to redirect Steam client app to read Destiny 2 on the SSD and not the HDD?

TIA.

right click the game in your library, click properties and go to the "local files" tab and press "move install folder"

I have only one drive and perahps that is why "move install folder" is not available.

try going in to steam settings, then Downloads, and then click "Steam Library Folders".
not 100% sure, but you might have to set up another folder manually before you can use the move install folder option.
edit: re-reading it, it sounds like you don't have the SSD yet, but when you get it, you just create a folder anywhere on it, and in the "steam library folders" you just designate that folder as a library folder, any games downloaded in the future will also ask what folder they should be downloaded to.

this
To move the game, make more steam library folders
I have one on every drive in my system,it kinda grew over the years and the bigger game sizes (gives you more options while installing big games)
Though I usually only put smaller games on my SSD

in settings> stteam librayr folders, there is "add library folder"
i suppose add the folder on teh SSd, but does that copy all the 81G Destiny files to that location?

Once you have made the second steam library folder, you can right click on Destiny 2, then click Properties, go to the Local Files tab, and finally "move install folder".
You will get a drop down menu where you can select the folder you want to move the game to(note: there should only be one, as you can't choose it's existing folder as a destination).
Steam will then move all the game files to the designated folder and the game will be playable as soon as it is done, which might take a little while, given the size of the game.
