Destiny 2 Wireless PS4 Controller
Can anyone get their wireless PS4 controller to work in Destiny 2 with Steam's Controller Configuration? Cause I can't, even though I can get it to work with other games like Origin's Battlefield 1 and Guild Wars 2..

I've tried that and it still doesn't work. Strange thing is I can't start the game in Big Picture mode using the controller..

No. It currently doesn't work, especially via Steam Link.

So basically it involves waiting for an update that fixes the issue.

Don't think it'll work, it will just read the PS4 controller as an Xbox controller.

I spent most of the release day and the day after trying every way I could to make it work and I can't. I can't speak too much however for a direct USB cabled PS4 controller as I didn't test that, but looking at other posts there's still issues there. It's also not how I want to play.

As for DS4Windows, I don't want to have to use that because this should be a AAA supported product and I shouldn't really have to.

I know what you mean, I don't want to keep using third party support when the Steam Control Config. should be good enough. Specially when it's a Steam game. I've even got the config. to work on non-Steam games so I don't see why this is a problem.

Hi there, I played D2 using a PS4 controller via usb cable since launch and it detects just fine as Playstation controller. I'm too used to playing Destiny with a controller so I don't really do M+KB.

I use the PS4 controller time and time again. Just use DS4. It's a program to allow your controller to be accepted, although most games auto accept PS4 or XBOX controllers, you can just use that, then again, D2 automatically accepts my controller without it when I plug it in.

So it only works when you plug it in? Or when it reads it as an Xbox controller? : /

Anyone have any luck with this? DS4 wireless.

Hoping they won't leave it too long. From their point of view--- we're non-accessible cash-cows ripe for Microtransactionary abuse.
