Access Forge? Whats a Director?
I am new to this game and trying to figure out the forge stuff, however in order to access it everyone is saying to access it from the director not the map. What does this mean? I don't see anyone explaining what the director is maybe it should be obvious but I don't see anything anywhere about it?

The director is the map function along with the quests, roster and other stuff. To access the forge, hit the destinations when useing the director with is the tab - hold tab button or bring it up with M key and go the the EDZ. In the EDZ map, search around for a large black armory icon, click it and you can go into a forge activity.

Where do I find it? Someone on a forum said lower left of the map for the EDZ but I have nothing there. Also I have both DLC.

Ok I realize now what the director is, (holding tab tells me thats the name of that menu). But I dont see any options about the forge

Forge is in EDZ (earth) with the big black armory icon on the left side of the map.

Forge is in EDZ with the big black armory icon.
Like on the map? Either I am completely blind or its not there. I see nothing at all like that.

I have heard other people having this same problem. No icon is on the map for them either. I dont know if you have to do something first before it shows up. As a new player a lot of this game is a total mess trying to figure things out. The game tells me nothing about how I am supposed to do things and I end up google researching how to do everything which is a huge pain.

I have annual pass, so maybe talk to ada 1 in the tower to access it? I did that before the New light change so I dunno.

Nope, neither of those two icons are down there for me. I have talked to Ada and she says I do not have access to the forge. Which is what lead me to finding out I need to look for that icon.

Is there any quests I need to do first? Its possible I grabbed a quest from Ada a few days ago and I don't know which one in my big list of quests that might be.

Last thing she gave me was to do a machine gun frame for hammerhead. Can't remember if I got anything else.
