Didn't get quest reward ?

I was doing the red war campaign for the reward choice on mission 6 but after completing it I got no choice at all. Did they remove the quest reward or am I missing something ?

I'm pretty sure the riskrunner quest is for its catalyst as it come with it, my guess is bingo remove those reward just because

I always dismantle gear and I checked the postmaster. I guess they just removed the reward :/

Weird. most of the campaign loot kinda sucks anyway and im pretty sure its the same stuff you get from the planetary vendors, so just collect resources and chests while youre doing missions and then get some random drops. after 10 of those you can just buy all the stuff from the vendors

It was an exotic reward choice, one that would have been really fun for my character. I read it on the wiki and countless threads of people saying they got the choice. Yet after doing the mission I didn't even get a reward :/ It's just frustrating.

didnt remember that at all. thats pretty lame. might be worth posting on a bungie help page, they seem really active on twitter and i think you can just make a ticket through their site.
Worst case, xur(the exotic dealer) should be showing up tomorrow and he might have something fun for you. havent heard anything about them changing how that works.
last thing i can think of, maybe check your collection and see if its in there

I completed The Red War as a Warlock and I can't even find Cayde-6 who's supposedly meant to give me Eternity's Edge at the Tower afterwards.
I'm new to the game as well, so I'd appreciate any help clearing up my confusion.

I am having the exact same problem I did The Red War and got nothing at all

Quests no longer give rewards cause new randomized loot. Enjoy having to farm for everything cause Bungie redid the entire gear system.

One of the earlier campaign missions let you choose between graviton lance, sun shot and one other exotic weapon, can't remember which. Another quest later on let you get an exotic armor piece for your class. Warlock got to choose eye of another world or two others. I've heard both rewards have been removed but I ran the campaign back on bnet so no clue.
