Apple TV + Steam Link + DualShock 4
Wondering if anyone can give me some assistance on this. I'm using an Apple TV 4K with the Steam Link app. Have a bluetooth DS4 controller paired. Almost all of the controls for Destiny 2 work fine except being able to use the touch pad. No matter what I do, I can't get that functionality to work. It's like that input is disabled. I've verified that I have the controller settings for the game pointed to a Playstation controller. Any thoughts?

Just as a follow up, I tried using GloSC but had the same issues. It seems to be a steam link app specific problem maybe?

Use a non-Apple Smart TV.
The one thing I feel I should point out is that this game hit Steam days ago after being on Battle Net for a while. I think it’s a little rushed to think that the game would support Steam Link out of the box. You can certainly visit the Bungie site and post on the feedback forum and start a conversation on it there. It might make it on their radar if enough people seem to like it.

The other thing is that the only controller support that I’ve seen this game work with out of the box is the Xbox controller. So Steam Link may be using something different to translate that communication.

You are absolutely right. I appreciate the feedback and I was already pretty much subscribed in my mind to just waiting it out. Thanks for the community building feedback. I know that my way of doing things isn't traditional, but with 3 kids and small amounts of time, I take what I can get. I may try out an xbox controller in the meantime.

I've tried a DS4 and Xbox One controller with my Apple TV + Steam Link and I can't even get it to recognize the controller. I too would like to play this game when I'm not able to be in front of my PC.

As far as the issue with the touchpad, I don't think Apple built in the support for the DS4 touchpad or the Xbox Guide buttons.
