Anyway, yes you should save exotics. You can bump them up by feeding higher power gear into them to bump their own level to the new power level.
There's no need to keep everything you find for this reason, but those yellows might be worth throwing into the vault (bank).
I was talking about the gold border weapons, I think masterworks is the correct term. Could be wrong, since I haven't played in forever. I've never played Anthem though xp.
You are correct they are Masterworked weapons and to answer your question it depends they drop 7 enhancement cores unless they changed that since Shadowkeep, also depends what type of weapons though like a MW Midnight Coup would be worth keeping but some trash sidearm maybe not. Lower level exotics you could get rid of or just put them in the vault since as someone mentioned before you can reacquire from collections at a higher light level.
Wait, really? I always thought they were exotics and there's no tier beyond it. Rip me then, I messed up hard. I thought masterworks were the Anthem ones, never knew Destiny had them.
That's cool.
Masterworked gear is legendary stuff with a gold border. Masterworked weapons gain a stat boost to one stat and generate orbs of light on multikills. If you scrap a masterworked weapon, you get 7 enhancement cores. :)
Except for the literal masterworked weapons in Destiny. Have you even played it?
