Edit: When I say everything, I mean nothing will be below 750 difficulty and power.
But relax, you're not missing out on anything of value. Getting to max light was a lenghty process, but one that had no fun or engaging gameplay associated with it. You just had to play more to get more gear with greater power than you already have. You'll still be doing that, kinda, but now it's more streamlined and quick.
In fact you have access to more now , 750 is the new zero.
Don't make it too complicated for yourself and accept this.
It will still take a looong time to hit max power ( longer than you normally would)
The reason why they did this was so that people who wanted to play Destiny with other veterans didn’t have to take hours and hours going through story and content just to play with their veteran friends. With the 750 boost everyone is leveled and everyone can play together.
Keep in mind that Bungie also upped the power of all activities to 750+, so we are essentially playing as if we were at 0 power.
