Destiny 2 freezes on signing in screen. (FIXED)

So the game is just stuck at signing in screen and i can hear the music in the background.

I've tried to run the game as an administrator, updated windows and drivers, verified game files and everything but still no luck.
Any help will be appreciated. Thank you <3

EDIT: I found the most stupidest fix for this problem and you won't believe it. The issue is caused by having more than 300 friends. So i checked my friends list and i had more than 300 friends. After unfriending most of them, i ran the game and VOILA. The game is working now. I hope bungie fixes this stupid problem.

Try this then:

windows + r -> %appdata% -> Bungie -> DestinyPC -> prefs -> cvars open it as notepad and changue this:
1.- <cvar name="window_mode" value="2" /> changue it to 2 i think 3 is default.
2.- Your "fullscreen_resolution_width" value and "fullscreen_resolution_height" value should be the same as ur "windowed_resolution_width" value and "windowed_resolution_height" value.
Save it and try to launch the game.

Spoke too soon but got farther this time. Can get to the point of actually adjusting screen settings. I say ok to the and it goes to a screen that is white and only says ADJUST SETTINGS

In that order and the mouse pointer is barely visible. Relaunched the game and now back to square one.

Went back and looked at cars in notepad and the windowed mode value changed back to 3 but the resolutions stayed matched, I changed the resolution values the first time and saved it.

Don't thank me for the fix. All I did was to google your issue and I found so many discussions regarding it. Sometimes, all you need is to search for your issue on Google and hopefully you will find a fix for it.
