Steam version has bad performance and frame rate issues

Okay so I played a lot of Destiny 2 on the Blizzard launcher and I was getting 60+ fps everytime. But now that the game switched to Steam, there are several performance issues. There are lag spikes every 10-20 seconds. The fps lowered from 60+ in the Bnet version to 35-40 in Steam version with stutter.
The game is kinda unplayable now smh.
The graphic settings are exactly the same for both.

Well I can run the game on max settings with the lowest resolution but if I try my normal resolution(that I run other games at 60 fps on) it drops to 30 fps even with the worst settings... Seems that this launch was not executed the way it should have been.

Same game ran flawless on Bnet but like total ♥♥♥♥ on Steam which doesn't even really make sense honestly.

running it on ultra and its as smooth as ever, maybe its just the new update, it sure looks a lot prettier than I remember but maybe that't just because I have a more powerful system now.

Actually I get better FPS in Steam, compared to when I played it on Battlenet.

True! Most launches come with their own issues, even when just switching platforms on PC as seen above. They will adress them, just need to be a lil patient.

It's weird, I can actually hike up the graphics quite a bit compared to the bnet version and still get a stable fps now.

Same problem here as well, changing the Videosettings or resolution won't do ♥♥♥♥, never had those problems on battle.net. Maybe it has something to do with the specs? mine are:

Windows 10 Home 64 bits
2X AMD Radeon R9 290 running with crossfireX
i7 4790 with 3.6 Ghz (8CPUs)
16 GB of RAM

Maybe someone else who has the same problems has similar specs, where the problems are might be located.

I'm getting 100+ fps and no stutters or anything, high settings. Really have no idea why this is an issue.

Likely my specs though,

R7 1700, clocked at 3.4 GHZ,
RX Vega 56,
16 GB DDR4 3200 ram
Game is installed on a 7200 RPM HDD.

Yes since the move to steam im getting major fps drops. I always just lock fps to 60, but the game frequently dips into the 40's. Use to run the game just a month ago no problem.

Dude i run this smoothly on a friggin GTX 950. This game is smooth as butter are you high?

Same problem here. Bungie had 3 servers for each region on Blizzard (NA, EU, Asia) and my FPS was over 100. Now, everyone is playing on the same server, with an induced amount of players from consoles migrating over and free to play players that it has congested it to max capacity and taking a major blow to performance. My FPS now is less than 10 in all worldly activities other than orbit which remains mid 20's. Really needs work.
