How do I play missions solo?
For missions, quests, strikes, etc, that I can play solo (1-3 player strikes for example), how do I play them solo? Cause' it can be fun to work together during fights. But in between them, when you're just running to the next objective or checkpoint, players usually run ahead of me and activate things without me. And when I do run along with them, I end up missing a lot of the really cool environments.
I try setting my fireteam to invite only, and even closed, but nothing works. Random players still end up joining my fireteam during strikes.
Is there no way to play them solo, or am I missing something?

Anything that has match making (this will be listed next to the activity when starting it), will not allow you to play solo unless you do not match up with anyone.

idk, everytime I played this game there was random ppl grinding the areas. Nothing cinematic about the story, when some guy just stands in the same area killing wave after wave, I'm in the first mission of the game and enemies are level 30 or something because there's some lvl 70 or something sitting around

I'm talking about story stuff, though. Like strikes. How to I play them solo?

It's not possible unless you don't match with anyone, unfortunately.

Click on the Roster - set Fireteam to Clan and Friends only.

However, that's only for missions.

Well, there's no in-game way to "turn off" other players. If you're in an open world section or in a matchmade activity, they will be there no matter if you like it or not, unfortunately.

Strikes aren't "story stuff" - see my post above.

But they have themes of missions to push back the darkness in different ways, with characters interracting amongst each other, villian bosses, and progress in saving humanity. If it isn't story stuff, then what CAN be played solo?
Also, are these strikes limited, or randomly generated, since they aren't story focused. If limited, can I replay them?
