Claws of the Wolf is a Kinetic Pulse Rifle you get from Crucible, I believe. It literally shoots like an SMG, just a lot more accurate, and if you have good aim, can mostly kill Guardians with 3 taps of the mouse button.

Uh... Ok yeah, first of all, not even out of my teens yet, second of all, too hard to adapt to? There's a weapon right now that's better than all the other weapons, so you can't play other things that you want to play because you'll lose every gunfight. Is that a good thing? But that is so vague. Basically describes any weapon. Anyone can die to that weapon and anyone can beat that weapon with something they are good with.

Claw's of the wolf get's blown out at longer ranges and destroyed at close range by things like SMG/shotgun/sidearms (yes they can), 540 RPM pulse's are very mid range.

Pulse's like Blast Furnace or Bygones will dome you long before a CotW could.

they need to undo the pulse buffs that came with shadowkeep, pulses were by far the strongest weapon class in the game pre shadow keep and buffing them didn't help fix that.

Get a decently rolled Erentil from Banshee and practice with fusion rifles for a bit, and you'll start to make shotgun apes cry. There are other good FR's out there with things like backup plan, but I can't remember all the good ones.
