We had something good with the wormhusk that made our dodge actually viable but guess what nerfnerfnerf
Alright so you need some education. As a Warlock main you've giving it way too much credit. We have the slowest melee in the game meaning in a straight up fight melee fight we will lose every time before we can get a second hit off. All of our supers with the exception of Daybreak bottom tree and Nova bomb are not noteworthy or greatly useful in PvP. Our pulse grenade is a blessing but definitely not something I would go as far to call a "game changer". And the Well you're moaning about so much really only works against stupid players. It takes too long to drop during a duel and 9/10 times youre gonna get popped before its placed and healing you. It's only useful for holding points while capping and any half decent player will just wait til it dissipates to engage. Hunters get Arc Staff which is easily the best PvP super in the game besides bottom tree Striker for Titans. That alone is enough to keep them viable. If you're really struggling that much playing Hunter I'd start looking at your individual skill rather than blaming your class.
I do agree that Titans rule the Crucible so if you're going in with strictly PvP in mind you're gonna wanna pick that.
You have a one hit kill melee. If you're getting into fistfights and losing, I suggest you reevaulate your positioning. Healing rift taking a while to pop? Really? That's the huge downside that could potentially make hunters a better class? And yeah, arcstrider is dope but warlocks can straight up turn into a flying sword shooting TANK that one hit kills anything it touches. And you flat out admit you have better grenades. So at the absolute best in this discussion, you freely admit that your ability is better and grenades too. And if anything, the supers could be considered even. Yeah sure call me bad, but I know for damn sure what my abilities are when facing titans and warlocks and they're not up to par.
The fact that this post exists means he's definitely lacking in that department.
Lmao. I could say the same thing about Arc Staff, "ninja fast movement with ability to literally block bullets and long usage time omg so broken". You're definitely the type of low skill player who thinks running into a Warlocks Well to try and 1v1 them is a good idea. The "one hit kill melee" you seem so fixated on is handheld supernova which is only on the middle tree for void and uses grenade energy so it's not like it can be spammed. And I don't know why you seem convinced that Warlocks having a good grenade makes Hunters trash. How donkey doodoo is your positioning that you're managing to get killed so much by grenades? I usually don't like to say "git gud" to people but I'm making an exception here.
I am looking at the abilities for these classes objectively and the hunter is by far the worse. If anything, titans are CLEAR winners here and warlocks are fairly close but they absolutely have the edge.
