how to get wooden stick in "rare" version?

Hello, I'm on a quest where Amirah asks me for a "rare" wooden stick, but I can't produce any, despite a lot of crafted items.

Might be related to the Refinery crafting station, which I hear is bugged to hell and back.

Refinery works ok for materials but it’s a bit buggy. For equipment it’s extremely buggy if you have multiple so be careful. Had a purple dagger in my inventory and had a commission for another purple one, and I couldn’t get it to upgrade from blue to purple it just kept upgrading the one I already owned.

The refinery does work, most of the time it will upgrade from green-blue-purple, other times it will just repeat the same rarity it's currently on, so it's mostly chance.

If you have multiple of the same equipment try and select the right one, and it won't update the equipment until you exit the refinery.
