Yeah, I finished game yesterday so can give you some advice probably.
1. Don't attack E9 unless you already have at least 1 top squad of 6, but better to have 2 top squads of 6 to retake all mines and cities
2. If "you are not prepared!!!" then just slowly retake your mines and cities with your main squad, same I did, but you must understand that you are dealing with professional army with top equipment (machine gunners, snipers, mortar guys, medics) so I hope you have at least two pro machine gunners and 4 pro snipers with armor piercing rounds
3. Load your game before entering E9 and keep training your mercs and grinding good weapon and armor because we don't have any in-game shops
I have been spoiled
I sent Steroid to talk and then immidiately ran behind the tree, while Barry was chucking his shaped charges and my snipers one-tap headshot everyone in vicinity (x3 aim headshots with thermal+mods have like a 99% hit chance).
Went pretty smooth, did it 2nd try (1st one I didn't know it's a fight, so I died).
