Herman is dead

After i rescue him from hanging the last times i let him die. Was that a good idea. I mean the reward from rescuing him from the mine was crap and after i met him again and his dominante wife just get only insulted. so i really dont feel to rescue him this time.

So my question is, was that wise or did i miss some intresting side quest?

You get a tiny reward for saving them, which includes some points with Ernie, which can be useful if you want to recruit Pierre. In the camp you can get him to work in your mines, which probably gives some added income and gives some points with the camp. It's really not that impactful either way, but it also doesn't really cost you anything to save him.

hmm last time there was only an option to give him 2k cash. which i just dont like cause he is a coward and his wife just insulted me.

and the broken throusers i dont need xD (for rescuing him the first time)
to get ernie at 100% is not a problem. there r enogh assalt squads (playing with random enemy squad, so each sector can be attacked even without any fortress around)

Not really, no. I think you need to own Diamond Red (top left mine) and maybe some leadership in order to have him work in the mine. If you do, he finally stands up to his wife, which is neat.

Never had an option like that with 95 leadership, would have been nice.

but i saw it in a lp too that he can be hired. and he has a pretty crappy team with steroid and other low tier mercs. so think leadership dont need such high but what i mean is the ownership of red mine. that was not the case - and because i started again after the last update (because my imp and larry was broken) and want to do everthing right ^^

i let him die cuz i aint no snitch like herman, and i got the confidante out of it, so definitely worth it
