Slave Master Graafs fate?

So I just captured the Red Diamond mine and now I gotta decide what to do with Slave Master Graad. Either kill him, let him go, or make him work for me as a Foreman for me.

I wonder what are the advantages/disadvatages for each decission?


Will having him as a foreman increase the mines production?

If I let him leave and take his stash, what exactly will I get?

I know I get his Rifle if I kill him but is this still the case if i choose one of the other paths from above?

I killed him and didn't get his rifle. Neither from his corpse nor from the rifle sitting on the deck.

maybe a bug with the rifle?

my main concern is that if I let him alive that Pierre will be upset about I once I can recruit him

I was wondering the same thing about an hour ago so I typed "graaf" into the Search Discussions box and found what I needed.

Graaf as a Foreman, he'll keep his promise not to kill any slaves but he will "squeeze" them in order to mine more. -5 to Port Cacao and Pentagruel, +Remorse to your mercs. Also getting his stash, I got some big diamonds and a random magazine I believe.

Kill him, Golden Rifle, +5 to Port Cacao and Pentagruel, +Righteous to your mercs

Not sure on letting him leave, didn't pick it

Did not get the rifle after wasting that POS.

Hm... not sure if the rifle is RNG drop or should be 100% guaranteed. Can those of you who have encountered this issue please report it via the in-game bug reporter (press ESC while in-game, then select "Bug report")? Thanks.

I killed Graaf, and was able to take the Golden rifle afterwards; but where did Pierre go? I couldn't find slave Pierre anywhere in A2 before i killed Graaf.

In my game he seems moved to F19; Camp Bien Chieng (checking notes does help)

When I blow his balcony apart and his rifle too I don't get it, which should be the case in my opinion.

Burned him to surrender and got it afterwards.

But before I nearly killed every guard silently with blood and fox, besides 3 guys (save scummed)

all slaves survived

Having Graaf as foreman boosts mine income by 20%
You get the rifle only if you kill him.
