I like the old sounds better as well.
And sorry for going off on a somewhat unrelated tangent here, but I really don't like how a lot of things, such as old builds, cheat codes, and limited access to the card game is locked behind their Patreon. I can understand if it was the full card game, but having a single booster pack for 25 dollars feels like way too much...
Dragon Tier (25$/Month) gets 1 booster pack.
Knight Tier (50$/Month) gets 2 booster packs.
Queen Tier (100$/Month) gets 5 booster packs.
Goddess Tier (500$/Month, I really don't know who would buy this..) gets 10 booster packs and 1 "shiny" pack, which has a 5% chance for any Tier? I'm not sure what it means by this.
Here's the Patreon links so you can check it out for yourself.

After looking into it all, I'm going to be completely honest, I lost any and all interest in getting this card game for myself.
Yeah, sounds about right for this dev. This is the same dev that released "free" dlc characters but only for those at Dragon Tier ($25/Month). So if you wanted the privileged to own the whole group before they are released for free to the stable players, you had to be willing to shell out $300 a year for them. Now they want to do another scam towards their dedicated supporters for this tcg? While still not finishing up the base game it's based on? Come on now.
It's definetly been a rollercoaster of decision making.
