Game Errors leading to crashes

one of my saves I try rescuing skeleton princess but then hit me with a game error "Script "Game_Interpreter" Line 1540: NoMethodError occured undefined method '[]=' for 7:Fixnum" and one of my other saves I'm doing dog princess route and whenever I slay a princess and take the soul I get another game error "Script 'Game_Interpreter' line 1540: NoMethodError occured. undefined method '[]=' for 18:fixnum any way to fix this? because its getting a tad bit annoying

After saving a copy of your save file, maybe try reinstalling it?

ive done that three times now its whenever I save a princess the game crashes with the 18:fixnum error more specifically the finhead princess currently. this is really annoying because im trying to 100% this game and this is hindering any progress I have.

If you want, you could purchase and download it from itch.io and see if the problem persists with that version as well. I never played it on steam, but it's super easy to transfer save data, which includes achievements.
