It's right at harvest princess castle, don't go into the castle but the wheat outside it is what you're looking for.
Yes her quest is fully finished, after you get her quest. You sneak in at night, grab the key from the flour bag right infront of you. Then head downstairs and check the table, after which you need to head to the windmill in the wheat field.
I've not had this issue, then again I've only done the quest once or twice. Guess just abandon it and try again the next day? Or try seeing if you can pick up the malt again?
Well after that part you report back to the princess during day and report it. Afterwards you need around 6 kingdom affinity to start the next part of the quest. She'll put a pumpkin on your head and you can enter the shack at night in the wheat fields.
i just had to abandon the quest and restart it, no big deal, more or less was pointing out it was a possible bug and that the OP probably wasn't doing anything wrong. It did trigger for another ingredient and the malt again, picked both up, completion was triggered, turned in.
I'm wondering if it had to do with the discussion you have with someone (can't remember who, possibly the Guild Rep) who tells you to go to the Temple to pick up the Journal. I was in the middle of the Ingredient quest when this was given to me and had not fully explored the map yet to reach Harvest Town. Other than that, I didn't have anything else happening.
