Not nessesarily. There are types of Yandere out there. Iris Heart for example is Yandere, but only the sadistic part. She is easily put into place by a simple hug or pet on the head as you then prove to her that her behavior does not scare you in the slightest.
The Yandere you are showing is the merciless yealous one that we can see in something like Elfenlied. Lucy, at the beginning only that is, is that kind of yandere, but we learn quiet fast WHY she acts like that. Everything is alway's stolen from her, so obviously she snaps. Later on she is considered Tsundere. She could have killed nearly everyone safe Kouta in the Hotel, yet she never did. She learned the hard way that it was wrong what she did (in either manga or anime that is, thou the manga is a bit more complex, as well as not having the anime versions happy end with her returning at the end. She is clerly shoot by Kouta, as that is what she wanted, but only after telling him why, and who she was wich made him remember).
Dog here, is the "your mine and only mine" type thou i heard of a way to basicaly PUT HER INTO PLACE and make her more normal. I usualy skip her and not even bother. Even with random stuff she aint good enogh looking tbh. to be worth my time. Or just get her and put her in the bordell... thats where she belongs seriously.
