OK, have it working with the Beta 1.16.1 version of Virtual Desktop...

Few things to check...

1. Bottom right corner of the Virtual Desktop Streamer Settings window on your PC. Secure Boot needs to be Disabled. If it's showing as Enabled you have to reboot and go into your System BIOS and find the area/s to Disable Secure Boot. If you have a TPM might be a good idea to backup the keys before clearing them and disabling the TPM, then disabling Secure Boot.

2. I made sure to roll my Steam VR app to the release version, had the Beta installed. Had to Uninstall it, Opt Out of the Beta and Reinstall from the Steam App.

3. Clear out any custom bindings you might have tried in Steam for the game. Set the binding to Default and make sure Oculus Touch is the selected controller type.

"VD's developer posted on reddit that a fix will be out in a couple of days." This is whats being said on a Facebook page.
Why don't you guys post this stuff on Virtual Desktop's steam community forum? This has nothing to do with TWD:O

Actually no, this is TWD steam VR bindings for quest that aren't well coded, they just forgot it! :)
its annoying... is there anyone who can make the binding for it ?
I'm giving it two days, then refund.
It looks like the issue is not with bindings. It almost seems the game is detecting and trying to use the wrong controller type when passed thru Virtual Desktop.

During the setup walk-thru the displayed controllers look like the actual Quest controllers when using the Link cable. Same thing when using Virtual Desktop shows controllers that are NOT the Quest ones. They look like the Original Rift Touch controllers (I think) in the display.

I noticed this too. Thought the image of them was off.
Hoping a fix soon. I returned my Saints and Sinners when it had issues. Then i repurchased when it was fixed, and I lost all pre-order items. I'm waiting this time for walking dead onslaught fix.

Incorrect. 100% virtual desktop issue. That's the reason the virtual desktop developer will fix it. Evidence. It already does work with Link. 99% of issues through VD are because of VD. Mostly regarding controller mapping or just black screen. But luckily VD developer is the best indie developer ever. So he'll probably fix soon.
Virtual Desktop has a Beta release out that is supposed to fix the issue...

Sweet, thank you.
Still does not work for me. Anyone get it to work?
Now that I could sit and load it up and try it, not working for me either... Same issue, Right controller A button and Left controller X button not registering the press during the Calibration.

Have posted results in VDs Discord. Doing some testing of things to see what might work...
A B X Y buttons are not working on Quest through virtural desktop.
Can't even get pass the tutorial.
I was told to disable secure boot in my bios. Going to try it now, will post results.
This fixed the game for me.
