Firstly, make sure Windows Camera Privacy settings allow Before Your Eyes.exe access - also do the same with your antivirus/firewall.
Next, delete the file located here:
C:\Users\<username>\AppData\LocalLow\Goodbye World\Before Your Eyes\webcamInfo.json. Launch the game and test your webcam in the main menu, then click new game. If it still crashes, try disconnecting your webcam (if it's not an integrated cam) in the main menu before pressing "new game". If clicking “new game” works and you get to the camera-selection menu (i.e. the calibration sequence), plug the webcam back in and wait 5-10 seconds to see if it gets detected by the game (if so, it should appear in the dropdown list).
