so i tried it and it didn't connect to the playstation camera and i tested it in discord and obs it was working perfectly that i even didn't believe the quality was that good, but the problem i see is the game can't detect the camera if anyone did have the solution please tell me it will be fun

Thanks for trying. Interesting that it works in other programs. Were you able to see it listed in the dropdown during the initial calibration?

if you mean in the game no it didn't give an option to chose a webcam or something it just said there is no webcam detected but the weird thing is camera is going red light in the left of the camera meaning is working when i open the game that mean it connected to it but for some reason it saying not detecting, i feel is very possible to do it and it detecting that mean there might be something missing i will check it out later.

Thanks for testing it out. It's possible that the camera is being used by another program, which would make it not work in game. Can I ask what the webcam device's name is according to your computer? We specifically programmed the game to ignore certain keywords so that it wouldn't pick up OBS virtual cameras and the like. So its possible that the name of the camera is what's causing the issue, in which case we can include it in a future patch.

oh ok is called manycam virtual webcam this is what i found the name in the device manger in imaging devices there are two things manycam virtual webcam and PS3Eye camera

Hi, just curious as to when this patch is coming out. I also use an EyeToy and I am wanting to play the game properly.

We don't have an exact date yet, but its coming. What is EyeToy called according to your computer?

Rich the dev here (blink-tech guy)! In the meantime while we work on the patch, here's a potential workaround. You can change the name of your webcam this way (see link below), so that it doesn't have the word "virtual" in it. Do this your own risk, but I'd certainly do this myself and would personally recommend it.

Honestly that's super cool ya'll are gonna make sure this gets patched. It's a strange device to support (even if it's easy to do so).
