Here's my output_log.txt after loading the game and attempting to start a new game.
https://pastebin.com/gaLrrFyq
i use old iphone6 as a webcam with Camo App.
Tried all the available Resolutions (192x144 - 1024x768, 720p, 1080p) none works on calibration. therefore cannot detect the blink.
- Ensure your internet is connected
- Try deleting ~/Library/Application Support/com.GoodbyeWorld.BeforeYourEyes/webcamInfo.json and then retry the game (Library folder is invisible by default, to make it visible follow these instructions: https://www.macrumors.com/how-to/reveal-library-folder-in-macos/)
- When in the camera-select menu (comes up after clicking “new game”), check that the correct webcam is selected in the dropdown list. If your camera has a light, it should turn on when selected.
- [if using external camera] When in camera-select menu (comes up after clicking “new game”), unplug camera, wait 5 seconds, then plug back in. Then select it in the drop-down menu (if it isn't already).
- Make sure the camera is not being used or getting hijacked by another program.
- In some cases, virtual cameras can interfere with the face tracker. Uninstall any virtual cameras if possible. Also disconnect any other camera devices you don't intend to use.
- If nothing works, send us a logfile. The log file is located at ~/Library/Logs/Skybound/Before Your Eyes/Player.log
You can also use the Console.app utility from your /Applications/Utilities folder to find the log file.
I'm on Windows 10. The signal from the Camo app /iPhone works on other apps.
Also, I just deleted the json file, but it still doesn't work.
Maybe it's an issue with Camo being detected as video input but not as a camera signal per se? For example, the Windows Camera app also doesn't recognize Camo as a "camera". But then, in other apps like Streamlabs OBS, choosing the video signal was no problem. Just throwing ideas in, right here... Actually, I don't have a clue about this stuff.
