1 - this is actually good, and I see the major differences from downwell this has. But, I think two things so far - you should be able to use the D-pad on your controller instead of the analogue stick. and 2 - the items you can buy from the guy at the end of a stage, if you buy a thing, he opens up a second set of options. But you can't pass on the first set to buy from the 2nd set instead? that's all. I like how instead of downwell's feet/gun thingy, you can only flip up-side-down and drop on enemies....

While I can get behind the adaptation of a genre or of another work in which you take what you like about a game and improve upon it, (in this case Downwell) I'm ultimately put off by the idea of the main sprite looking like Shovel Knight. This seems like coat tail riding and may ultimately prove to hurt sales. Why did you chose to take this path instead of taking a chance on yourself and making a more original sprite?...

This game looks really awesome and reminded me alot to downwell do you think you will add achievements to this cool game? :D
