Game won't open on HTC Vive

after the new update, the game stopped opening in VR, it only opens on the monitor, and there is no way to select or do anything. have to exit on ALT+F4
I already checked the integrity of the files, uninstalled and installed again, and nothing changed
other games open normally in VR

To ensure your OpenXR setting is set to SteamVR, head on over to

SteamVR > Settings > Developer > Set OpenXR
