could be something like Hawkeye Bullseye and Deadeye
learn basic grip / stance.
I have gone to range with 9mm and my personal Taurus .357 and maverick 88 speacail purpose 12gauge. I even practice grip and stance which by the way don’t help much when they are designed for something that has weight and most importantly recoil. Recoil btw which is worse in most games than it is once your used to the guns .Not gonna lie though first gun I fired was my 357 that caught me off a little but I was only had slight kick up since I prepared for the worst but the 9mm being so light messed me up more recoil wise it was rented too so I guess I’m just not used to it.
learn the spawn points.
i have a terrible time hearing beats, that what's been the most difficult for me.
Skills with a handgun, particularly aiming with both eyes should loosen your learning curve in Pistol Whip. The essentials still apply. Granted the weight of a game controller vs a loaded handgun is pretty drastic and that'll take some time to get used to, just as it would switching to a different handgun after practicing with the same one for a long time.
PS Optional collimator sights would be great too :)
As a Deadeye fan myself, I definitely understand this request! Sights/collimator sights come up pretty often in discussions; however, I'll also make a note about your suggestion to improve the current indicator as well.
Just the movement isn't the issue. I have a lightgun and CRT setup and shoot from fast moving vehicles at fast moving targets without nearly this level of imprecision. Something in this game just feels way off without aim-assist.
The bullet doesn't travel, you hit the enemy instantly.
It's just realistic. Hitting an enemy at a certain distance, while you are moving, without a lot of time for aiming is just hard.
Other games might have larger hitboxes for the enemies to make it not frustrating to play.
I've tried deadeye yesterday for the first time too. Playing it at medium mostly. I love the new challenge and especially that the maps in medium are somewhat different. Can only recommend it when you feel like hard is getting way too easy without mods.
