No you can't die and I don't plan to make "death" a part of the game.

However, I do see your point in the challenging and battling your friends idea and is something I wanna add at some point. Just don't know exactly in what shape or form yet.

And keep in mind death would change the age rating on this game as death wouldn't be part of the major story it would get an 18 up rating for Germany and Germany is by far the biggest market for this game

Instead of death could it be "Knocked Out" instead? Wake up back at base/hospital with a KO counter maybe?

Yes, not a bad idea. Something that is less violent, but enough to also make it fun and challenging :)

maybe you can create a mod that does this. there are tons of mods that does other stuff than adding fireworks, like custom lighter, weather mod, etc

Right now, modders are pretty limited when it comes to doing things like this, as there are some challenges with Netcode for GameObjects, that we are awaiting Unity to fix/help with.
