I want to end there eventually and is aiming for that. However, I released the game in it's simplest state that it is now. Single player, no mods, not localized etc. as I wanted to know if this was actually a game that people wanted to play.
It very much seems like a game people want, so I'm continuing working on the game just as I have done the last 2 years :)
I hope to end with mod support and all that - but time will tell - but have patience it takes time to do all this :)
The base you've built is very solid, it feels very polished, the graphics and artstyle is great, the lighting is lovely, and performance is quite nice actually, especially given how much stuff has - quite nice - physics and can be destroyed. Of course I understand that developing all that alone is quite a task which takes time, I'll be staying ;)
If I may suggest, have a peek at the garrys mod fireworks mods if you have the chance to do so, and maybe take some ideas from the Garrys Mod toolgun while you're at it ;) Connecting some physic based stuff to a gas tank by rope or just that magic glue connection that's all over garrys mod, would open a whole new set of options.
One more thing, the mouse feels smoothed and has a bit of delay to it, I'm guessing it's the common suspect V-sync, would be cool to have an option to turn that off.
Thanks again, happy new year and cheers :)
Thank you for playing, enjoying and staying :)
The game is very inspired by Garry's Mod - so I will for sure look at that and be inspired and see if I can do things better in relation to Fireworks Mania.
Yes things like mouse fixes, V-sync on/off all that good will be added slowly over time.
On purpose I saved time by NOT implementing all these crazy amount of settings you see in games normally. Wanted to wait and then do the ones the players actually wanted.
Can save me a lot of time on stuff that nobody uses :)
Yes, it would be awesome to see what people would come up with. However, mods are in the future, will take me time to do.
