Virus warning playing the Demo, false positive?

Just got a virus warning using Avast

IDP.Generic. on Fireworks Mania.exe

I'm very sure I didn't put a virus in the file or the game :)

Do Avast give more info than that?

Seems like I can submit a request for them to whitelist the game after they validated it.

I've marked it as a false positive and sent for analysis so they can mark it as a safe file. This was detected by the 'behaviour shield', which looks for virus like activity, something the file did caused it to trigger. Just to make things easier for you, it was what ever happened when the game is closed, When you exit the game, that is when it happened, might or might not be
relevant.

But Avast and other antivirus do this all the time, so hopefully they will sort it out and mark it as safe when scanning or it launching.

They usually don't reply anything, but the more people that submit false positive the better.

Ok, I might do it as well then. Guess it can be because its a new game. Needs to be picked up as an "ok" application.

But think it's good actually, as anybody and put anything on Steam these days... which Steam did a little more of that. Anyhow, different topic :D
