A model takes much longer than a day or two. It can take weeks, months and even longer depending on the complexity.
As the cDLCs adds quite good models of three different boats (one of them massive), it likely took quite long.
For 7.99€ it is a more than a fair price, while also featuring a mini-campaign, a coop mission and overall good additions for a 2035 themed cDLC.
They are fairly high in detail, on par with Arma 3 Vanilla and higher than mods that offer similar content.
Ok posso farne a meno
This CDLC took two years to make, most of the work was done by one person, so there is a lot of content considering.
The days of large CDLCs are over, BI is only interested in smaller projects like the last two that released. These CDLC are priced accordingly, the amount of content you are getting for the money is very fair.
If you are not happy with the amount of content, don't buy it.
There are 3 completely new major assets included, on top of all the reworked vehicles to add new weapons/guns to them, and a new faction.
How much content do you think you should get for a mere $8.00?
If you don't think this CDLC is worth $8, then you are not a reasonable person.
