Waking Up on the beach

Hi, so I've just started the "adapt" campaign, and it seems that no matter what, I get overrun and killed in the ruined city. I stay on the outskirts and kill the soldiers in my way to the mountain. Any strategy suggestions?

Decided to try my luck in the forest. A patrol walked into my path so I unloaded a clip into him through a small bush, and he killed me.

Head up the hill at the start, there should be some binoculars in the small shrine. Head along the ridge into the ruined town, there's some dead FIA rebels that have better guns. Ignore the chopper that lands the squad.

Then it's pretty much a straight shot to your RV, avoiding the AAF by the big checkpoint and the small compound and the convoy that goes over the road.

The tactic what i use its to overwatch a little bit and them move cover by cover to find dead bodies on the ground to get a map and a gun and when theres a heli patrol the best thing its to hide in a house until he is gone and when your close to the mountain where your friend is watch out for mines

I followed the ridge, got some gear, killed a few guys who saw me. I was on the home stretch, crawling up the mountain and a freaking vehicle saw me and took me out with a turret.

yeah its full of checkpoints so if you got spotted just yolo to the objective

the best thing after you cleared it its to save the game like in a hill or something or enable the unlimited saves at the game difficulty options

A lot of reloading for me on this one ended up more luck than skill, ended up going straight through town, chopper pratically lands on me just tried to 'keyhole' and seperate guys picking em off and moving position through town so they have to relocate ya, but yeah alot of time s**t load of loading and saving.

Yeah I made it through, now I'm stuck on the mission where you have to ambush the AAF base, and take out the artilery with your squad. I hate being a squad leader. That ♥♥♥♥ sucks.
