How does redressing work in Old Man Scenario?

I faced with some problems with detecting myself by gandarmes and CSAT forces, when I'm dressed like one of them. Even when I wear all required equipment and some kind of mask/glasses, the enemy starts shooting at me anyways. What should I put on to become untouchable for them?

Masks (with only one exception that I'm aware of) or glasses etc are not enough even if you have a full uniform, in order to gain maximum disguise effectiveness for say a CSAT soldier outfit, you need to have the uniform, helmet, AND then most critically, wear the full head covering black ski mask thing you can find at a black market, I forget its exact name, but once you have that on with full proper uniform, you will gain green question mark symbols on your outfit pieces in inventory indicating your disguise is as good as it can be.I don't think any other facewear does this, you MUST use that.

After all you're an old man in this mission, if you're showing any part of your skin that's looking like Emperor Palpatine's, no one is going to think you're a legit military guy :P. However, you still need to keep at least a little distance from troops or guards cause even with the ski mask on with full uniform and helmet you'll still spark suspicion if you lurk too close to anyone, but you will be able to waltz right into any restricted location you please without problem if you keep moderate distance from anyone, and that's pretty easy, in fact this turns the whole scenario into easy mode, you'll 'almost' never need to fight!
