How to chat during a game ?

The manual says that I have to use "/"-key to open up the chat, but nothings happens. I can cycle through the different channels using . and , but not open up the chat. Anyone who can help ?

Exactly this is some of the most unintuitive controls to a fps ever. It's very cumbersome kinda disappointed. I've hit like every key and still can't chat in game. Anyone help us out?

i use to had same problem until i just manage to change it in options menu/controls/multiplayer....just type any other key, i.e. i use "?' to open the chat box (it appears in the botoom of the screen)

Those are the the right key's to use, Use Team Speak it's better. there's other ones out there to use , but we use this one and have no problems at all. Yes , the game has voice on it but we don't use it.

I found out, that on the Danish keyboard you have to use the "-" key. The one that is to the left, of the right-shift-key.

my chatbox is hidden it seems, when i type, i can see my message typed, then press enter and it disappears. not sure if anyone else can see it. any idea?

By default the voice over network chat is used by holding capslock or double tapping it. Typed chat box is brought up by the "/" key and you can cycle between the channels with the "," and ".". As far as the hidden chat box, I would check your display settings, some times with the larger display chocies (not resolution) things dont show up. The good news is that the UI is extremely customizable.

Should be nice if man had easy key in the controller check the controller is no way to find chat mess button :p
