"NEW" to multiplayer

Hi,

I played Project Reality for years on multiplayer and loved it. I love good squad team play for long games. But since Arma my computer was to slow.. I never really went multiplayer.

Now with new computer I'd like to join good servers but i'm a bit lost with the procedure.
I bought all MODS I could find. I installed A3Launcher (recomended by someone)
But I can't see many opened servers with good ping and good players.
I see a good french server for exemple with a ping 60 (and I'm french ((and fluid in english)) but because I leave in UK i can't have access..
in all servers.. there's only ONE I can play for good ping, good number of player :P But team plays is bad. it's just people running around shouting stuff... only one big squad with everyone talking there to pilots.. big mess.

Any recomendation on how to proced to have exhaustiv servers list ?
is A3Launcher good ? other alternatives ?
Or do we have to comit to join a team ? :p
Also Between discord, TS3, this forum.. bohemian officials.. i'm a bit lost.
Why is it all so complicated ?

Some communities will use their own software like A3Sync, Swifty, or their own curated launcher. You can get by with the A3 Launcher and workshop mods though. Public A3 is quite dead as most people come to A3 Life, KOTH, or just Arma 3 Units. TS3 is a must for radio mods. Most communities use Discord for their own internal organization. BI forum and steam are a mixed bag.

I think there's some French speaking communities in A3 but unsure. Your best bet is to look on the official A3 Discord or look for a clan in the steam forum/BI forum.
