Compass is not opening...

My compass Isn't opening up when i press the hotkey for it, I've tried pressing it once, twice fast, holding it, nothing works. Oddly, it opens up while I'm sprinting. I've looked all over google regarding this and have found nothing... Anyone have any advice or am I legit bugged out? I verified my game cache after fresh install... No problems detected, I'm confused. Thanks if anyone can help me with this!

I've also tried changing the hotkey to a different key, didn't fix it... compass works while sprinting and in map mode but not while standing still or moving without sprint x_x ... grrrr

If you are aiming down sight/scope the compass won't display.
