(FIX FOUND) ARMA 3 HARD FREEZES YOUR COMPUTER? ~Complete Computer Reset~ARMA 3 not Responding

I have noticed alot of people in the ARMA 3 Community are having problems with ARMA 3 Freezing the Computer SYSTEM..
Are you ABLE to open up Task Manager but find that it is also frozen?
Do you open up Task Manager and find that your ARMA 3 has stoped Responding?

Well if you are having the following issues than I have A FIX FOR YOU!!!

I have been having this problem with my ARMA 3 for the longest time.. I was so tired of waiting for someone to find out how to fix this problem, SO I started to work on this problem myself.. I was really suppriesed to see how easy fixing this issue was.
When looking at my CPU when launching ARMA 3 I noticed that it would Jump around like crazy. I knew this problem was weird becuase I had cleaned my entire computer out the day before. I started tampuring with ARMA 3 settings and played the game for about 5hours without a Hard Crash.. I was able to play Multiplayer and do Missions without MY Computer freezing..

I am a New youtuber starting out on a New channel and would appreciate all the support I could get.. I have made a very Simple tutor on How To Fix this Problem.. It would be greatly appreciated if you could Subscribe and Like the vido if this has Fixed your ARMA 3 HARD FREEZE..

If my video Below does not help, IT could be that you need to EDIT ARMA Launch settings. All you have to do is put this code into advanced launch settings.

Did not work for me. Also my computer 100% freezes no task manager. Hard reset only.

Are you getting black screen lock out when alt tabbing?

Nothing happens the whole computer is locked up. Hard boot every time. I'm starting to think it could be Video Card ?

My fix was to open my GPU and put fresh "Thermal Paste" on the processor. Wish I had known this before I spent all this money on a piece by piece new computer.

Hey bro, maybe when your PC went freeze you noticed that your keyboard lights turned off? cuz I’m having the same problem since February, and my keyboard lights just go off after some seconds... I can't get a good fix yet.

gbear i am having the same issue, what are your specs, mine is a gtx 1050, 1tb hdd, 2.3 ghz intel i5 cpu, 8gb of ram. for me it is a spike in disk not cpu.

Mine is 3.9 Mhz, 32Gb ram. 7 Tb, 8 Gb Gpu, 850 Watt PSU.

With computers it actually could lots of different issues. I ended up with a new gaming computer after buying new parts one by one.

But, after all is said and done a $2.00 tube of thermal paste would have saved me $1, 600.

The problem is in some other place - but reason as cpu setting was close (author have lucky to get solve this by settings only luncher options maybe he had lowwer gen CPU) but real reason is in CPU type and settings and also in windows updates for CPUs, anyway if you get this kind of stucks and it looks like graphic card is too hot or something like memory errors and in every other program or game than arma3 is no such problems -> the real reason is settings of cpu turbo boost mode frequencies in bios - due to settings of new 12/13 gen Ix intel CPUs mybe on AMD too, for solve problem try to lower CPU settings on boost/turbo range to for example half of actual setting and then rise it up and after every change restart and try arma for stability by 15-20min I had this issue on 2 machines with i5 12 gen and I5 13gen with AMD RX graphic and nvidia RTX in both cases reason was in those CPU settings in bios, and strange thing those problems starts after some update of win 10/win11 (the problem on win 11 is like arma closing itself without any message, on win 11 arma hangs with bit_module error or even blue screen and first of all it closing steam, sometimes it turn offf GPu driver and it looks like graphic card is the reason - like memory/GPU error or overheat - but belive me it is not beacouse when yu play other new games or run stress test on GPU it working normal -> I have no youtibe channel but 20 years of IT experience - and for this problem I spend few days of testing, I hope it help to lot of users of ARMA3 with new gen CPUs PCs.

I had the same problem with ARMA 3 locking up. The screen would freeze with no keyboard / mouse input available and I had to re-boot to exit the game. I uninstalled / re-installed the game, verified the game files in Steam and made sure my drivers were all up to date but nothing worked. A buddy suggested I disable the turbo setting which was overclocking the CPU and that seems to have fixed my issue. I am going on 3 weeks now without any annoying lockups.

that's a hardware issue, u don't want to limit the turbo unless something is wrong.
