Remove Battleye

For starters I just want to say that I never been a fan of battleye. Why? Well, I've seen alot of hackers while I played DayZ (both the mod and the standalone).

The anti-cheat system should do one thing, and one thing only: Make sure that there are no hackers/cheaters in the game.

Sounds fair enough? Yepp, I think so.

Well for some super mindblowing reason, the Battleye team made some efford to keep the hackers away.
I dont know what it did, but it got me banned from DayZ standalone.
Without reason, I got banned. I tried to contact the Battleye support, but you know.. If they see on their screen that I got banned for "using cheats" they wont respond.

I tried to explain that I in-fact have NOT used any kind of cheats/hacks. Ever.

No respond.

OK, whatever, I just wasted my money, but its OK.. I can take it.

So my friends started to talk about Arma 3 alot and told me that I needed to get it.
I was going to get it, but then I thought; Arma 3 is using Battleye aswell, and I dont want the same thing to happen again. So I didnt buy the game.

But months later my dear friend bought me the game as a gift and I thought "Well, what are the odds that I will get a false ban again?"

Ohhhh but so wrong I was... I didnt even have the chanse to try out one game in multiplayer. Not one. Because I had the same ban apparently, the same Ban ID as on the standalone.

The support still wont help me, they wont even reply my emails...

I know Im not the only one who got this problem with Battleye, so this is my feedback to you guys: KICK THE BATTLEYE TEAM AND REPLACE THEM WITH SOMEONE ELSE.

Im sick of Battleyes way of treating people, and Im not alone.

If you were banned without reason and they refuse to respond to your questions, start a lawsuit. Companies are not allowed to do this. You will easily win.

Yes! You paid for the product. It's the same like you buy a car and they just take it away from you without any reason and you also don't get your money back. This would fall in the same law part as " Stealing " . It is nothing else than stealing. Banning you so you can't use the game anymore, without you haven't done anything + not responding to you ,is nothing else than stealing your money. Maybe you had a program running you don't even know about ?

I remember, I had an old program with hacks on my computer, so Call of Duty : Modern Warfare was a VAC bann for me, I did not cheat in the game or anything, I just had the Program on my PC. If this is the case, you can't do much..it's not easy to prove that you did not use it .

BattlEye is just a 3rd party app. So removing BattlEye wouldn't solve this issue.

It is the TERMS OF USE from Bohemia Interactice Studios. It is their decision to do so. Read it and find a mistake in the legal sense in it.

You have accepted it by using the first game that was protected by BE.

Let's say you have been banned. BI says: Also banned from all other BE protected products, also banned for the future.

By this they mean, you're a "persona non grata", no matter how many licences you buy from now on. You have lost your reputation, your good name, your status, rank, -whatever.

Since ArmA is a Steam game, you have to make a new Steam-account before you get a new license.

They wont reply if found evidence against you, why would they bother, its not a net to stop hacking but to catch em, your write up is very common with cheaters too, trying to take moral high ground after trying to be a f**k wit cheater ruining other ppls games THEY also bought.

By the way your only banned from BE protected MP servers, its optional, if it was sooo bad no one would use, you can still play non BE servers with rest of cheaters I bet that would be fun.

I don't give a ♥♥♥♥ if it is an app or whatever... it is making my game UNPLAYABLE over 150 dollars... I am not impressed.... GET RID OF BATTLEYE

BI won't give a fk for it. never was and never will be. just because they current old engine is fken hackfest (and I don't believe that Enfusion will be better).

This is especially true. You're not banned from playing the game, you just can only play on non-BE protected servers - which are actually not complete clusterf*ck jungles complete with a bunch of anarchist lunatics running around with decked out super-guns and suitcase nukes - but sometimes pretty good with some decent people who are not hackers.

Stop trying to play on servers the require BE. as for the ban, you used pirated software at some point in a BE protected game. You know darn good and well, that you never had any intention of buying whatever pirated software you got busted with. Your plan was to use the pirated software permanently. You got caught. And you got handed a permanent ban. Now live with the consequences of your actions.
