Fatigue and Injury - Moaning and Groaning
I really want to come back and play more ArmA 3, especially to revisit some of those old games modes I've spent countless hours in. But the most annoying thing ever for me still does not have a general option for disabling, the sound part of the fatigue/injury systems. Sound is such an important element of immersion for me and that part is so distracting. I know how to disable it by executing enableFatigue or setFatigue 0, but not all game modes allow that and those that do still can't seem to disable it from the injury part.

I just got over 2 hours into a BECTI run and the first time I got shot I had to sit there for 30 minutes of it, listening to the "ISSS... OOOOO... AHHHH... ♥♥♥♥.. ISSS.. AHH.. OOO.." until I finally just Alt-F4'd when I remembered this little thing kills the ArmA experience for me. I remembered all those times I'd finally get a medic to me or get to a medic and get a 2 minute reprieve before .. *gun shot* .. "ISSS... OOOOO... AHHHH... ♥♥♥♥.. ISSS.. AHH.. OOO.." .. "MEDIC!" .. "Oh lovely the medic is dead."

All I want is a general option to get rid of the panting, moaning, groaning SOUNDS. Something that I can change in the options so I don't have to edit someone elses mission to allow me to get partial reprieve from the fatigue part of the noise. I understand its realistic to some but I just can't handle it for more than 30 seconds before that's all I can focus on.. and that is not fun at all.

I own everything ArmA and I used to spend hundreds of hours in game modes in full-on immersion, loving every minute of it. But ever since the sounds have been implemented for fatigue and injury, its been killing me to look at my library and know clicking on Play is only going to end in Alt-F4 for one stupid little reason. I don't want god mode, I don't want fatigue and injury to go away. I just don't want to listen to the sounds the player makes anymore when they are fatigued or injured. It is so incredibly distracting to the combat of the game, especially in singleplayer modes where you don't have quick access to a competent medical resource most of the time. I don't want to spend 10 hours of CTI and spend most of if listening to a looping sound of a man moaning, groaning and complaining. I want to hear the sounds of gun shots and people yelling orders, vehicles moving around, air support in the distance.. all the actual great sounds of ArmA 3.. not "ISSS... OOOOO... AHHHH... ♥♥♥♥.. ISSS.. AHH.. OOO.."

tl;dr I don't make those kind of noises when I'm tired or hurt in real life. So every time the character pants, groans or moans, I'm reminded that I'm playing a game and immersion breaks.

So. Unbelievably. True.
I'm honestly astonished how they don't just have a seperate "Voice" audio option to lower.

I guess the majority of people just like the sound of a man panting and moaning in their ear for their entire play experience. I gave up on ArmA shortly after this. Between this and derpy ass AI that can't move 10 feet without needing to console unstuck them I just couldn't do it anymore.

Sorry I thought we were just exchanging useless advice. If I had known I would have to explain to you we're talking about a combat simulator and my OP already pointed out I'm not looking for god mode I simply wouldn't have replied at all to you.

Yes a combat sim which you think your character should make no noise at all when shot. That makes sense.

Try re-reading from the top. You're missing a lot of information I provided in the OP. I cannot assist your request for information when you cannot demonstrate understanding of the original posting. I also provided information in a follow-up reply that can assist you in understanding it further. Good luck with your thing.

Its pretty simple and i understand completely.
It wont be changed so good luck to you.

No you don't. Because the entire point is that I don't enjoy a man moaning in my ear the entire ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ experience. I don't need you to understand or even accept that I do not enjoy a man moaning in my ear to validate it. You, your opinion and anything you represent is completely irrelevant to me, this post and I even expect the entire world. Congratulations on trying to flex on a feedback post for a game. You've clearly accomplished a lot and I don't even play this game anymore, which you'd known if you actually did read and understood anything. So now what? You got any more tricks or is awkward attempts at online social interaction your sole specialty?

The official ArmA3 bugtracker (they say Feedback tracker)

Moaning sounds

It's worse than that. Just enter "moaning" in the search field. I submitted one a long time ago because the character would start "max moaning" with any injury at all. And they'd get injured from stubbing their toe or getting within a half mile of a burning camp fire. But nothing has ever changed with it.

Links always increase the value of postings.
Can you provide a link to your bug report?
Has the report been deleted in the meantime?

You're better off jumping on one of the active ones on the tracker if you want it changed too, I gave up on this game. Too many content DLCs and nothing gets done about bad AI and saturated features. It's pretty much the same clunky sandbox it has been from the start with just a lot of more objects and textures and access to a scenario editor. I'd rather just keep playing the Stalker series on repeat.

I agree, it is overdone and I have critisized it in the past, too.
That sound could be out of a ♥♥♥♥-porno.

I have recognized that there are deletions in the bugtracker, I have a bitter taste because of that fact.

My account was disabled in the official forum, I can no longer post there, I can not edit bugreports and can not use the search function of the Bugtracker when I am not logged in.

In the bugtracker you can see how the development of this game works.
That moaning was included in OFP, Armed Assault, ArmA2 and was overtaken to A3.

Since there aren't really Alpha versions, they take placeholders in the betaversion for functions like, let's say "door opening animations" or the before mentioned "sounds from injured".
They used to place "any sounds" there, because they knew that "sometimes" they will have to finish their work on it. So they could say, you knew it before buy. (They also don't have belonging Bug-Reports, lol).

When you ask me, they have to much self-esteem and they know that they will have their income, no matter what they produce.

I have also quitted to play ArmA3, I feel like I am on strike for months now.

One person in the Bugtracker has mentioned, that it is unrealistic for a wounded person to constantly whining.
It was also asked here in the thread. Injured persons avoid movements that cause pain. A person who expects pain can manage this (bites the teeth together). There are even methods you can learn to manage pain.

I like the proposal to have a slider in the options, where you can set the loudness of the moaning to zero.
