Arma 3

Fixed/Rotary pilot looking for NA semi-serious group.
As the title implies, I can fly just about anything from any mod given some practice and time to brush off my rust - but I'm just as experienced on the ground if the operation doesn't include air assets. I definitely don't mind ground-pounding for an op or two to mix things up.

2500+ hours, 500+ in flight and familiar with most mods. Prefer a smaller group (20-50, give or take) but I'm not opposed to bigger units given that your ops aren't too laggy.

I'm 21 and I've been doing arma units since roughly 2018.

Additional experience includes:
-Leadership
-Pretty much any infantry MOS
-Armor/Crewman
-Limited zeus/eden editor, but enough to make a working op if necessary, or you're just desperate.

Schedule limitations are minimal, my weekends and most of my weekdays are free(for the moment).

If you invite me to a starsim or something equally gay, I'm mailing a pipebomb to your house.

If you have any interest in the Vietnam war then i'd recommend the 101st AB as they have been around for many years, well managed and structured and is the largest Vietnam war MilSim group in the Arma 3 community.

101st Airborne Divison | Cobra Company
Style: MILSIM (weekly 50 player zeused operations)
Main Language: English
Operation Time: Saturday 15:00 GMT (10:00 US EST)
Overview:
We are a veteran MilSim unit which has been active within the UNSUNG/ArmA 3 Vietnam community for over five years. We strive to provide a mature and realistic experience while not sacrificing fun and player enjoyment. We do not ask for "Yes Sir", however we do expect players to follow the chain of command when in game. Our unit operates 2 main elements: Cobra Company, 1/327th, 101st Airborne Division, which is our main infantry element, consisting of an HQ element, 2 platoons and a mortar section. In addition to our two infantry platoons, we also operate C Troop, 2/17th Cavalry Regiment, which is our assigned rotary aviation element. We do require good attendance, however that being said we do have reserve positions for those who can't attend for long periods of time. Lastly we have optional side ops during the week that we play in different eras to give our members a little variety.

Hey man, we are in need of serious, dedicated pilots. Hit us up!

Ghost Platoon
Ghost Platoon was founded in 2014 and in the years since has developed into one of the premier US Army Ranger milsim units in the Arma 3 Community. At its core, Ghost Platoon is a community of like-minded friends who enjoy playing Arma 3 and other games like it in a realistic and tactical manner. In order to foster the environment in which we desire to play in, Ghost Platoon is a strictly 18+ community.

In-game we utilize established military doctrine and Small Unit Tactics (SUT) founded and used in the real world. We continuously strive to conduct successful operations using proper planning, procedure, and execution based on real world tactics. Many of our members come from Active Duty and Prior Service backgrounds - often with combat experience. These members continue to offer their expertise, experience, and knowledge to better the group. Thus, your Arma Résumé is unlikely to impress us, but rather your attitude and ability to work with others will be of primary concern to us.

Ghost Platoon is not a casual experience. We train weekly on Small Unit Tactics and we expect the absolute best out of our members.

Requirements:
  • Age Limit: 18+ - NO EXCEPTIONS
  • North American Only - NO EXCEPTIONS
  • Working Mic w/ Good communication skills (Fluent in English).
  • Existing knowledge of Arma Mechanics and Small Unit Tactics preferred, but not required. We're happy to teach any dedicated member.

Good afternoon, Reb. If you are still in the market for an aviation company with rotary-wing, fixed-wing, and UAV assets, I would love a chance to chat with you more about our organization. Reach out anytime.
Hey Could definately use a a pilot we run a halo group if you want some more info shoot me a DM. or join our discord server. https://discord.gg/DCANXJyP
We could definitely do with a pilot, we are around 100 EU members in TAW and just starting to spin up our NA members for Arma 3 and Reforger again. Have a local server already set up and doing events on a Saturday at 1900 EST, 1600 PST supported by around 12 EU teams including Zeus. Once we have more NA players that can switch to Sundays and a weekday mission.

HEY YOU!

Yeah you! We know what you're here for, you know what we're here for, and that's ARMA! What's better than the multiplayer cesspool that is King Of The Hill? Playing arma with an actual unit! So what're you waiting for?

About our Community:

The 44th Infantry Division is built around community, rather than the commander. While we strive for some milsim aspects, we believe that the community is the most important aspect of the unit, and strive to make things better for everyone involved, from having dedicated hang-out spots in our teamspeak, to hosting gamenights for our fellow members. We do more than arma, and know that overall, real life comes first.

Structure:

Our unit is built on the standard US Military structure for a company (at current standing), and plans to slowly increase the size of the unit structure as we gain more members. Our unit is built in a way so that only the community decides when we expand -- not just the commander. This includes a communal nomination and voting system for officer promotions, huge requirements for certain awards or ranks, or other facets to prevent people from getting into places where they really shouldn't be.

Roles:

Within the 44th Infantry Division, we offer a number of roles. Our entry level roles look like so:

- 11B - Infantry
- 12B - Combat Engineer
- 13F* - Forward Observer, JTAC
- 15T - Helicopter Crewchief
- 68W - Combat Medic

Outside of our entry level roles, we have the following Warrant Officer MOS' for people who enjoy doing what they're doing in the unit, but don't want to be come a full time leader or who wish to fly helicopters:

- 120A - Construction Engineer Technician (Engineer)
- 131A - Field Artillery Technician (Master JTAC)
- 153A - Rotary Wing Aviator
- 151A - Aviation Maintenance Technician (Crewchief)
- 670A - Health Services Technician (Medic)

Sub-units:

Our unit is broken up into three separate sub units and four different staff shops. Our sub-units are:

- 1st Platoon, "Skinwalkers" - The standard infantry unit for work in the field.
- 2nd Platoon, "Wendigo" - The support platoon for the medics, JTACs, and Engineers
- 3rd Squadron, "Thunderbirds" - The aviation squadron attached to the company for aviation support.

And our staff shops? They're:

- S-1 - Human Resources Command, responsible for website, teamspeak, discord, and server maintenance as well as keeping personnel files up to date
- S-2 - Intelligence, responsible for creating and running missions as a zeus
- S-7 - TRADOC, responsible for all the training that needs to be done in the unit
- S-9 - Recruiting & Retention, responsible for posts like this, keeping up with new members, and overall making sure the unit is happy!

Rules:

Our rules are rather straightforward and simple. They are:

1. Real Life Comes First. We want members of our community to focus on real life, and, in doing so, should always strive to be transparent with us when things start getting hectic so we can help you out to the best of our ability. Arma takes a backseat to real world obligations, people, and anything else happening in the real world.

2. It's just a game. We want our members to keep things low-key. We don't do "yes sir" and "no ma'am" because that's not who we are.

3. No Discrimination. While it can be funny sometimes to tell a risky joke here or there, we have to keep in mind how other people may react to the same joke. Therefore, we don't tolerate any level of discrimination in our server.

4. Age. While we like to be a chill place to hangout, it is not for people who are too young to remember Call of Duty: Black Ops. Therefore, the age restriction is for anyone aged 16 years or older.

Other Information:

We try to be courteous to our european brothers. We host operations on Saturdays at 1700 EST // 2100 GMT
